But, I mean... Isn't the point of this community to give and get turking help? It seems a little hypocritcal for people to get mad about others choosing to share their information just because they hoped it was their own little secret.

 

I was at McDonalds this morning at 5am, and of course, the old folks that frequent the place at that hour think that everyone else there at that hour is friendly.

Some batches are small enough that avoiding sharing them for a few weeks until it is discovered will net you a lot of money. I'm honestly more of a fan of teaching someone how to find a good batch instead of spoon feeding them one anyways.

I don't mean to say that everyone or anyone should share all their secrets. I just think it's silly to get mad at someone else for doing it, should they choose to.

It's not as simple as just black and white like that. When you throw humans and money together, some very interesting and complicated stuff can occur, especially when for some of them it's a matter of meeting rent/bills or not just from something being kept on the downlow versus not.
The forums are indeed somewhat of a paradox, but I'd go crazy if I turked and didn't have people to chat with. I'm sure everyone else feels the same
