I miss Chicago, but I sure as shit don't miss crap like snow in October (or April as I'm sure will be the case).

I had an EX who changed her name when she became an adult. More for that reason than anything else. When she was younger she decided what her new name was and just asked people to call her that, then changed it legally when she could.

I'm not like terribly fond of my name (Jessica) but it's not a big deal to me in the end, but for some people, names hold a lot of power.

Yeah, it was in the 70s a few days ago still. Now it looks like 30s-low 50s for this week. I like snow though...cold without snow seems like a waste.

My current black cat was adopted from the Humane Society, though we never meant to (they set up a seasonal store in the mall full of kittens, which my daughter had to go look at, of course).

My biggest issue with shelter animals is that I can't deal with neuroses, especially with having a kid.
Both of my cats are cool. When we drive, both of them like to hang out the window like a dog would.

Don't give me an animal that could flip on my kid, or I will kill it myself and still end up having to feel guilty after all's said and done.

I've been wanting to rename myself since I was a child.
It offends my mother, unforunately -- who legally changed her own name.

I would do it, still. Except that I just can't decide!

Exactly. Power goes out and toop 300 gallon tank drains into 75 gallon sump until it over flows all over the floor.

    Boom $5,000 of coral... dead.

Not to mention when they eat each other.

I have an eel that has to live alone and I find him on the floor a couple times a month.

Pay seems suspect. Someone report back or post a review if you do it.

That shouldnt happen. I turn the power off on mine whenever needed and it doesnt overflow the sump.

When I lived in Salt Lake City, it was either 100 degrees in the summer, or snowing.

    2 seasons.

My dad still lives there, and his Facebook has photos of heavy snowball in September and April. Lol.
