Another bonus to having a separate numpad I forgot to mention is that if you use something like HIDMacros, you can react to its numpad keys differently from how your main board's numpad keys work.

So you could have your regular numpad work as... just a regular numpad, but your extra numpad can have, say, keybinds for entering your Worker ID into boxes, or whatever.

So pressing "5" on your main board numpad might just enter the number 5, whereas pressing "5" on your extra numpad would do something else if you wanted. The potential to differentiate the same keystrokes between different devices is there.

The only thing I missed was not actually putting the car in park after parallel parking... like we're stopped aren't we you jackass lol

DUDE. I usually don't use blinds for this reason, but that's what is in the apartment and Matt didn't want to take them down like I did.

I knew it would take a week for the cats to destroy them all.

 

Yeah, but that's really the only bad part of it to be honest. The rest (at least for me) was doing one lap around the block, which included a stop sign and back into the DMV. And of course, pointing out where all the controls are.

Not really. Line up next to the car... reverse til your front tires are lined up with that cars back tires. turn the wheel all the way to the right... go back til your front bumper is by their rear bumper... all the way to the left. Stop when you get to the curb. I don't our state actually makes you parallel anymore. We don't even have anywhere to parallel park around here lol.

 

Usually you can go by the dmv after hours and practice in the exact spot they have you parallel park for the exam. That's what I did! It was the easiest part for me and I knew I was aces when she made me do it as the last part lol.
