    Matt and I have different login info for the same account, and he wants her to be on the account cause he likes to ask her to pay bills for him when he's lazy.

    My life is a full on bizarro world at this point. I'm normally not a fan of disclosing this level of personal drama but I think I needed to hear that the situation was as fucking crazy as I felt like it was. She's been trying to fly out here and stay with us too. She wants to come "take care of him." This is the same person who encouraged Matt to ditch some of our pets before the move, so he could "lighten up," his uneeded responsibilities. I'm not gonna try and compete with his mother to be the woman he listens to the most or whatever, this is 10 shades or nutter butters.

    I like how they sometimes have smiley faces on these meshes they're surgically placing on these C-SATS.

    That was somewhere in my train of thought. I'm going to brace for a rejection on that one. Sometimes when you roll the dice you're gonna get burned. I'm willing to try out some new requesters but I should have returned that one on the demographics page.

    Yep! Your hardware will only be as fast as its slowest component involved in the computing process.

    So pretty much at this point the only thing that'll help me is a new motherboard?

    I think Jesus might be able to help, he's probably got a couple of spare sticks. That's the kind of RAM he had when he was alive back in the day.

    You need a motherboard that supports the speed and type of RAM desired. Additionally, you must ensure compatibility with the CPU.

    Have you tried plugging stuff into PCPartPicker? Sorry not following the discussion, but if you're having compatibility issues it offers a pretty basic/decent compatibility checker.

    It is more like just buying a new computer instead. Depending on what you replace it with the GPU and the HDDs ect could obviously be saved but the rest of it would cost more to upgrade then it would to just buy a new computer.

    Trying to use slower memory on a faster chipset motherboard is akin to driving a Model T on the Autobahn. It'll work, but you're going to get lots of bottlenecks slowing you down.

    He would have a hard time finding a motherboard that supports DD2 and a CPU that isn't slow af anyways.

    @HamburgerJelly

    Basically use the computer until you feel like getting a new one.

    It's so unsettling when the surgeon takes the cameras out of the tube. It's like that Magic School bus episode but more creepy
