1: Your body releases Adenosine throughout the day to manage your circadian rhythm. It flows around in your blood and pops into little ports throughout your body where it works its magic.

2: Caffeine looks a hell of a lot like Adenosine to your body. When you drink it, your body pops it into Adenosine ports cuz "lol it can't tell the difference".

3: The Adenosine that normally relaxes you is no longer doing its job, because the plugs it's supposed to fit into are filled with Caffeine instead, which is similar enough to Adenosine to plug the hole, but not similar enough to actually do anything with it.

4: Your body flips out because of this lack of calming hormones and releases Adrenaline in response.

5: Adrenaline thinks you're fighting a bear or something (lol), and in turn, shuts down or limits systems not necessary for immediate survival. It siphons their resources (oxygen, sugar, etc.) to the brain and skeletal muscle instead, in order to temporarily improve muscular workload and mental response time. It also increases RHR and BP as it puts the circulatory system into overdrive to keep you from dying to a bear. This whole process is known as sympathetic response.

6: Drinking caffeine all the time is like sawing away at a tree and never sharpening your saw, since you stay in "peak state", but your body never gets to improve or maintain this "peak state" by resting. Eventually, your "peak state" becomes worse than a regular person's "normal state". That's why meth heads look so burnt out.

It doesn't seem to really matter if you return the videos or not, even when I am returning vids I get the same one once I open the new HIT and start the new one. I'm starting my 6th 10 minute one now and just had to return 5

 

Tea's caffeine is also different from coffee's. It is called theine and there isn't nearly as much of it in tea as coffee as caffeine.
