Same here. Our front window is a large privacy row of green onions! I have my rosemary and thyme clippings rootting in water on the shelf too waiting for the right time to get around to planting them fully. Punished Basil sits in the sad window begging to die in it's sad glass jar with no drainage holes. It was one of those silly kits from Aldi that I was gifted and I've forced like 3 generations to live in this same jar of dirt and never done anything but water it once a week. It screams for death but this is its life. We never get to choose the most ideal soil to live in, neither does Punished Basil.

grow lights are the best. there are some white ones that look like normal lights which helps, but the colored ones are pretty. i brought in some of my herbs and thought about starting new stuff from seed indoors this year. if you do anything, let me know what works out so i know what i should try too

man, basil is so hard to grow indoors, so even sad indoor basil is good! my basil likes one very specific spot in my yard, nowhere else, and even babying it indoors with its own friggin light was like "nope byeee"

Eh, we just moved into this house a year ago and it's not 'technically' ours yet. We're waiting to fully get out there for some legal stuff to finish. I feel like I'm just desperately trying to keep everyone alive before I can 'hopefully' later put them into real homes. Plus we have more plants then we can afford pots for lol

 

I went to go find it and it's gone. I don't know how to handle existence when that one grow light is gone.
