At least you got it back briefly!

We had epic winds in my area but power was not shut off (I'm not PG&E for electric here). I drove to San Jose on Saturday expecting to see the hills around where i was driving dark and some streetlights out since I cut through the hills vs staying on freeway (they were slated for power outage) but all lights were on. No massive wind there, either, that I could see.

Just here. In the Valley. Lots of trees down and we did have power outages but those were from trees falling on power lines. That happens every year, though. I had falling branches smacking my car window Sunday when I was driving my kid to his grandma's. That was startling.

I hope it's not out long for you if it gets shut off tonight!

Several of my friends and family have been evacuated due to the Kincade fire so I'm hawking all this news like crazy. My stupid aunt who is in a mandatory evacuation zone and has no electricity decided to go back to her home because she couldn't stand how crowded the house she was staying in was (full of other evacuees). We have no way to monitor her now so all I can do is hope the fires don't get close to her home.
