The problem is when people invite other people without asking the hostess. This isn't the first or last time people have been left off the e-mail chain and some events are kept pretty low key to avoid this exact scenario. I'm pretty chill about that stuff, but there were a few people we avoided inviting because they are awful to me. Like the guy (and his gf) who destroyed my cast iron on a camping trip. But birb! How do you destroy a cast iron pan? I couldn't tell you what horrors my poor pan experienced ,but matt found it buried in sand after they just tossed it there when we were at pismo. They also VOMITED on some of my stuff we found out ....after I gave them water because they didn't bring enough no less. If I wasn't explicitly asked to be polite for professional reasons, I would tell that couple to get the fuck out of my house the minute I saw them.

if it was a normal party, I would care less, but since it's specifically a more family style get together because everyone is stressed and needs some fussing (I'm the resident nana type of the group lol), it peeves me. My food is made with love and I would like to sprinkle some fuck you all over their food hmmph.
