10/30 - Turnabout Tuesday!

Is there a trunk or treat near by? I know our neighborhood is so spread out they either go to the local church or to the rich subdivision a town or two over. Or both

 

they are still searching for the kids who came to my door for trick or treat last year.

Who is tricking now mafaka kids, huh!!!

Probably, this neighborhood isn't too bad, though. I mean they let they're kids play outside until dark.

 

We hit the trunk or treats (they've got hot dogs, popcorn and walking tacos) but we go door to door too.

 

I'm kind of curious if I'm going to get any trick or treaters. It's my first year at this house. It's on kind of a busy road without sidewalks, so I assume I won't get any, but I got a handful of candy from my parents just in case the neighbor kids come by. They'll make out like bandits.

 

What kind of backwards town are you in? Are you a time traveler from the 80s? What kind of kids go outside anymore?

 

10 years in my place, not one kid. aside of the high school, it is mostly a retired community

@morweeg, how do you feel about walking tacos

 

I've been living in my place for 10+ years too and every year we got less and less children until we were getting none at all.

An aberration that should cease immediately.

 

Probably one at the mall, it kind of bites, but people go there for some reason.

 

You have any tips on doing this? I've been trying to give one of our new cats Stockholm Syndrome for a few weeks now. He likes me like 45% of the time now, mostly at night. But he's still super skittish with everyone else lol.

 

It's either suck it up and go to the local mall or drive all the way to Charlotte because their malls don't suck and probably even still have a bookstore.

 

Safer then the streets, easier, temp controlled, well lit, easy to buy things that you wanted to as well. I get it but I'm not as much a fan of if because it takes away from the community feeling in the neighborhoods.
