nope tried just reinstalling, tried uninstalling and reinstalling literally did nothing on firefox but install scripts and add my mturk bookmarks but when I tried to run PC it keeps telling me I'm logged out when I'm clearly not

Well the nightly version crashes on first startup for me and locks up my video card driver if I run any other FF version alongside it, so depending on which FF you have installed, your problems may or may not fall under "bugs". I haven't given it a serious try yet, myself.

 

Have you tried it out on your windows 10 machines? I'm not having any issues here on my computer.

 

Haven't had any problems with FF so far on my W10 machines, but I also haven't vetted it that thoroughly or very recently (in the last month) on them.

But at least it hasn't crashed on first start or locked my GFX driver on any of them yet. Lol.

 

Well at the very least they don't crash on startup on your windows 10 machines right? I have a feeling that they just don't give a shit about testing on windows 8 until the beta stage.

 

opened everything up in chrome so I could get started for the day will play around with FireFox as I have time today.

on windows 10 - PC is the only thing not working, working in que so will mess with it in a bit

"A PSA for people using the "broken hit" script to submit Rekogs:

You're scamming, and if they ever look at their data, you'll be rejected.

The reason the HITs don't submit aren't because of an error with the HIT, and there not being any path for the form to submit, which is what the submit() is meant to bypass.

The Rekogs don't submit because of permission error (500) on the S3 server Rekogs are hosted on. When you submit normally, the rekog code wraps the data and sends it to their server, noting your worker ID, HIT id, and the data.

It then redirects to mturk, with just your workerid and hitid and no data, so that you can get credit for the assignment.

Using the 'broken HIT' script is equivalent to not watching the videos at all and just submitting without doing the work. Even if you're OK with that, you probably shouldn't post about it. Maybe.

Edited to add: When in doubt, open the dev console and look at the network traffic."

"That's their server. Note in the hit itself, it sends itemSandbox, itemTag, itemIdAssignment, itemIdHit and itemIdWorker. It sends no data.

Which means if anyone at Rekog notices they've paid out [x] hits but only have [y] answers and look for the disparity, there'll likely be a block. This post is only FYI to the honest people who care and didn't know.
