Yeah, and I don't really eat a lot of fast food? I mean, go for it, you do you. Really no judgement here. I was a Moe's fanatic for a short time of my life, we all have our personal preferences for a quick meal. I think their meat is bland and I've just never really enjoyed eating there much PERSONALLY. But, I can get food super quick from the local place in town and it costs about the same, except it's a family owned shop and they make a puffy taco the size of a small baby.




I'm not even being snarky, I mean literally do what makes you happy. We don't and shouldn't have to enjoy the same things to get along lol.

What you guys neglect to think of is that when places say "100% Beef" what that means.
It IS 100% Beef. But USDA allows that to mean ANY part of the cow, including heart, lung, brain, penis, stomach...

A good chunk of organs are sold separately and people happily buy them like Beef liver.

Burritos are from Jaurez. What's make them Mexican or texmex has to do with the filling. Usually Meixcan style is filled with beans and rice and one type of meat. Sometimes served on a plate covered in red sauce and cheese. Texmex is where you guac, lettuce, cheese, sour cream...

I think it's an L-shaped thing with North Washington on one end, and East Texas on the other.

The closer you get to the border, the more authentic it gets, and up I-5 in general on the West Coast is a popular place for Mexicans to immigrate to after they cross over. Lots of migrant farm jobs.

Woodburn (between , and Portland) is almost 100% non-English speakers, either illegal or on work visas. The state specifically sets grants for people to get housing in that area under the criteria that at least a certain % of their income comes from farm labor.

Those shops that let you ship money back to Mexico litter the town every couple of buildings.

I wouldn't take it personally, I prefer to eat home cooked food, and the only reason I know the prices is when I pick my daughter up at work late she wants something quick. I get sick when I eat that crap.

When I was in college, I lived and died by 5 dollar burrito Monday at Moes. I think it dissolved some of my insides, but man, I still ate it.

Plus, like I told @THFYM , some fucknut got lettuce all up in my burrito once and I turned bright red and started breaking out in the place, so I got a giftcard and free food from management, cause they were SUPER FREAKED that I would sue or something from the allergic reaction. Worth it!
