Yep. All my cats are rescues as an adult, so getting them fixed was randomly timed. I've gotten one kitty as a kitten, he was only 3 days old when I got him (the vet guessed, eyes weren't open, he was abandoned on the sidewalk) and vet told me he would die.

HE DID NOT DIE! I made sure he lived, and he lived with me a long time. He was my soulmate. I miss him terribly to this day.

he did not spray. He barely recognized that he was a cat as I was his mommy and I'm human, therefore he must have been too, right?

This is my purrrfect boy. There has never ever been a better cat for me than this handsome dude. He was simply the best.

See, I'm the opposite (just personally!). All my girl cats are way more destructive and insane and my boy cats have all been easy to break out of bad habits. I think it's also partially because the girl cats are both Matt's and he lets them get away with more than I do with my boys. I didn't actually realize I've had entirely male pets until Matt pointed out that he's always had chick pets and I always have little dudes. Who knows what that says about us! Even my rabbit was a bro hah!

Scrags just gets a pass because he's the oldest feral cat in existence and he's just living out his retirement in peace.
