    In Detroit we had the "Dream Cruise" (which still happens and is miles of classic cars (and new and interesting cars) up and down Woodward (the main drag) with people lining up the night before with lawn chairs. Out here in Maine we have one of the coolest museums "The Owls Head Transportation Museum" which holds a number of car shows and has an incredible permanent display of old cars (and also old airplanes and motorcycles) as well as air shows. Pretty fun stuff!
