    Every time I go yarn shopping I am always checking and comparing the skeins because even if they say they're the same weight, sometimes they really aren't and it drives me crazy. I also stopped using multiple brands for the same project because of this reason :(

    Seems it never rains in southern california, seems I've often heard that talk before. It never rains in California, but girllll don't they warn ya, IT SNOWS. WHY DOES IT SNOWWWWWWW?! (cause I live in the weird part of SoCal, but I still like to sing this version lol)

    I had no choice for the scarf as there are colors associated that those who love Dr. Who will recognize. So I did my best to find the appropriate weights with colors. And truth, the original scarf was knitted, and I don't knit well, so I changed the pattern to be crochet.

    And OMG GUESS WHAT JUST HAPPENED? Just now our mail guy handed me a box of YARN that I ordered online (not available in stores) and now I am so happy and just want to roll around in it.

    I haven't done a lot of research on the matter myself to know how common that is...but I personally think the woman in question went to a bad place to get it done. I've read reviews of the place and uh...some women get...other things pierced there and apparently it's been a really bad experience.

    It snows in the mountains that's why!!! lol. I am not there, but I can drive to snow in an hour or so.

    It snows all over CA, people just think we're all palm trees and beaches. And truth, we have a huge coastline, lol. But go north...no palm trees! Go inland, snow (or crops, that's where I live. Ag all around me.)
