I also have CR2, and your response from them was much nicer than mine...then again, this was back in March:

'Researchers who use our system to run studies often set qualifications to determine eligibility for each particular study according to its specifications...In these cases, workers who do not meet the measurements for these requirements will receive messages similar to the ones you have been receiving upon attempting to accept those HITs.

Unfortunately, there is no way for us to grant you access to these HITs if you are not meeting the correct qualifications. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes.'

Maybe I should try contacting them again? As for that announcement, I'm just as confused as you are. I'm just gonna wait and see.

If it took them 2 weeks to get back to you, it is probably going to take them time to update your "status". Maybe send a response to the email you received on Tuesday asking that they notify you when the update is made. This way in two more weeks you may get a response or a qual.
