    Amazon sells oem phone charger they bought directly from Apple.

    Chinese seller also sells oem Apple phone charger and utilizes FBA.

    Chinese seller sends all of his chargers to Amazon and those units go into box 111111 where sku 2222222 (apple oem charger) is stored.

    You order the charger, shipped and sold by Amazon. Warehouse guy grabs your charger from box 111111.

    Turns out the Chinese seller had knockoff chargers.

    Which charger did you get?

    I avoid FBA as well.

    If it doesn't say "Ships and sold by Amazon.com", I don't buy it from Amazon.

    As far as accidental warehouse mis-picks, I've literally never had that happen once.
    And I'd venture a strong guess that I order more from Amazon than even almost anyone here.
