Of course then I realized I probably am a little curvy now and didn't want CPS called on me so I just told her that wasn't nice..

You really need to remind her mean girls need not look under the tree in another month.

 

One time I was pissed at my mom when I was about 15 or 16, and I called her "Mommy Dearest"... Well, I never made that mistake again.

Okay, this still isn't sitting right with me. The reason I said what I did about you thinking it's funny that "most people here don't leave their houses to shop or go to work" or whatever -- we've all made jokes about how we 'rarely go outside' because of work on here, but your tone and further insistence about people going to vote just didn't sound too jovial. You have no idea what other people's circumstances are or why they choose mturk for an income. I know, off the top of my head, no fewer than five very regular users who have extreme anxiety, agoraphobia, or are otherwise housebound due to any cocktail of mental health struggles or physical struggles. As someone who has talked about family health struggles, I would have expected you'd be more sensitive to that.

Very, very, very, very few things in life actually get in under my skin, anyone here can attest to that, but something about calling out users for not leaving their house seemed particularly rude. Out of respect for Chris and the forum, I'm not going to argue about this, I just had to get that out there to speak up for the people in those circumstances that may have felt uncomfortable with your comment.

 

No need to use Santa. Just that Christmas gifts are a privilege, not a right.
