My PE is already looking better than it was yesterday, now if a nice fat batch of geo's could drop that would be great.

For future reference, you can select "Qualifications" instead of "HITs" (at least on www for as long as that lasts), and search for a requester's name to find list of all quals they've used.

Nothing beats Army hose water from an outdoor tank in the summertime...

No, I'm lying. Just about everything beats that stanky ass water.

    Mmmmmm.

I'd like to get our house tested for lead, because I'd like to know what I'm drinking, but that means convincing the landlords to not use the water for 8 hours before the test. I should probably get one of the water filters that works for lead.

because she did them slow..I believe she had all of her approved. I guess if you were a min and a half or less they rejected you (I got 5 rejected and 13 approved).

Earth2o scores well on the key water quality parameters for health:

People think they're "filtering these things out" when they filter tap water, but not being detail-oriented, they usually miss the fine-print asterisk that says "*odor + taste". A carbon-based filter is totally incapable of filtering chemical-based contaminants. Don't believe me? Google it.

So basically people who filter tap water are going through another scenario of "masking the symptoms while the core issue goes unresolved." Very American of them. Your taste buds are trying to tell you that you're drinking poison, and so the solution is... making the poison not taste like poison. Lmao.

Reminds me of my dad, who took ever-increasing doses of Ibuprofen to deal with his mysterious pains instead of visiting a doctor to figure out what was causing them. By the time he actually visited one, the problem had become much worse than it needed to be, had he dealt with the issue rather than its symptoms.

Now, the poison is at least better than the diseases you could get if the water were totally untreated. Parasites and whatnot are definitely worse than gradual long-term, low-grade flouride-poisoning. But the optimal solution is to just get water that doesn't suck in the first place, if you have that option available.

They automatically post when you submit unless you check the box to disable that.

What you have to worry about is the chemicals that are present but not not deemed hazardous yet...and there are A LOT
