Just sold a pair of speakers on OfferUp for $15 - after meeting with him, he informed me that he is only buying them for the speaker wire because he already has the same speakers but the speaker wire is damaged and he wasn't able to find the correct speaker wire online for the particular model.

Speaker wire is universal. It's cheap as fuck. This guy is dumb.

Actively discourage your friends and family from using your affiliate links.

If they happen to use them accidentally every once in a while, it won't kill you.

But the earnings you get from their purchases are just a tiny drop in a bucket, and it's not worth the risk of being banned and forfeiting your entire earnings and the opportunity to earn more. So you don't want them to make a habit of using your links at all.
