Just to piggy back on @Randomacts's usage of that TTS thing, this is what I use.



Be aware I paid for the pro version of pushbullet ($40/year), and installed a third party app to get it to send to my fitbit (android, the app is fit notifcations). I can't listen for hits, since I primarily turk from work, but I can look at my wrist. The fitibit vibrates when I get a notification.

(Also today I learned that pushbullet will not send to my fitbit (through my phone) if I am actively recording a video with it lol)

I would have had to solder in the LEDs myself for back lighting the keys though and how has time for that lately. And they are membrane not mech keys.

 

Just get another regular keyboard and install HIDMacros.

 

Thanks for posting this. I just did their test so fingers crossed. It took me soooo long to locate one particular thing and it was in plain site and I was so busy looking other places I missed that it was right there. Ugh. I was thinking out loud the whole time etc. so maybe they will accept me despite my apparent inability to see the forest through the trees.

I'm currently looking for new on-line sources as a few of my current ones seem to be slowly drying up.
