Definitely could be so! Now I don't feel so creepy doing those if it's true!

 

If you pause at 0:49 and look at the final wage summary of that hit, look at the "w/resources" line -- that's basically the wage I lost on that HIT waiting for the video to load.

I could probably bump the average wage on these up a bit more if I could figure out some sort of network optimization for YouTube videos. I'm missing the video quality change, which I guess is low-hanging fruit, but I'm not sure whether that'd actually assist w/ the initial load latency. In fact, for a 10-second segment, it might increase it, since the buffer for the HQ stream has already started by the time you click the low Q button...
