I saw this flash my Panda, but I did not pick it up so I can't say for certain, however, if you refresh the Mturk HIT page and it keeps redirecting you, might just have to message them. I just got this email. I was afraid this might happen...they made a mistake in wording, I've returned the hit, and now I'm qual'd out as "previous participant" - got the purple panda. Ugh!

No, no, no! I'm so glad you posted that because I'd definitely rather return a hit than get a rejection. It's pretty rare that this happens like this. I emailed them back with my situation and also indicated there may be other turkers in the same boat. I asked if they could post a new hit that won't dq me out.

Pros:
You'll feel good about yourself during the training sessions. So easy. You could pick out that middle C all day long, baby. Who's the man? This guy.

It approved quickly which suggests that accuracy isn't a factor in that, thank God.

Cons:
You'll feel very, very bad about yourself during the trials unless you're musically inclined. It speeds way up. It moves up an octave or two. They switch instruments. There's no feedback and you'll hear no examples of the C you're listening for.

They could've just asked me if I had a tin ear rather than spend 50 minutes slowly discovering it for mediocre pay.
