I might be buying a new laptop right now..... between the sale Dell's running with the additional 11% off, plus ebates 11% off...i'm not sure I"m going to get a better deal...

Ah okay fair enough. A gamer won't be happy with just a chromebook. (they are great for travel though)

Any reason that you are getting a laptop over a desktop though? If you move around and want to take your computer with you ect that is a good reason but if you keep your laptop docked 24/7 and plugged into monitors you would be better off getting a desktop.

A voice in my head just told me that you travel a lot... so a laptop would be the correct choice for you.

 

i keep getting downgraded, now i'm just an imaginary voice....

 

i need the portability, I have family 6+ hours away that we visit monthly.

One day I will build a gameing desktop (maybe) but i need to be able to travel, and I want to be able to play my games when traveling (family goes to bed early, not much to do where they live, etc)
