I hope she didn't pick up animal hoarding again elsewhere.

 

Pets get to sleep in the bed no matter the size. The only time I didn't let mine in the bed was when they had fleas. Pets are family.

Jesus, that sounds like hell. My heart goes to you for that.

 

Even after that one new treat you wanted to try because it had such a good ingredients list doesn't go over well with their tummy? Also the colder it gets, the more I need my foot warme-I mean precious companion in the bed with me.

 

I still refuse to budge on this position.

What kind of monster lets their pets sleep under the blankets? If I'm under two (which is likely depending on how cold it is) I'll let him under the top blanket, but I'm not sleeping skin to skin with a dog, sorry.

I don't trust people who don't treat their pets like family! I got allergy shots for a year so my cat could sleep in the bed with me

Whoa I thought you were one of the "under the blanket"ers, actually.. there was a whole contingent of forum folk who do it.

 

I would love if mine was a footwarmer but she just sits at the side of my face and stares at me purring. Just staring. I go to pet her and she pushes my hand down. It's super strange but I take what I can get from the spaz. I was so lucky, Dawn dishsoap and diligence cleared the fleas out before we had to use any medicine.

Sure, if you want to dutch oven yourself with animal farts. [They are still welcome in anytime though]

 

He actually hates it when I tuck him in under the top blanket because I think it's too cold. Doesn't stop me from trying, though.

 

He's 65 lbs and sometimes he digs his stupid little elbows in, but it's worth it now that he no longer has a spiked collar. Pretty sure at least half of those 65 pounds is his head alone.

I've got 16lbs of snoring fussy cat that loves to be super fucking creepy.

I didn't let him sleep under the covers, so much as occasionally found him there. He wasn't supposed to sleep on the bed unless invited, but I once woke up really suddenly and found him being my little spoon- he promptly scattered to the floor and looked at me like, "what? I've been here the entire time." We realized he had slept with me every single night and would just get back on the floor before I woke up.
