    I pretty much just stick to surveys currently, unless I can get on a easy batch to get my numbers up, or it's just damn good pay. I've blocked stuff like "invite only", "transcribe", "write", "writing", and ofcorse bad requesters like scoutit that's I've seen everyone avoid. Any other specific tips?

    I try not to block stuff that's so specific. There are some good transcribing and writing hits available but it that's not your thing then I don't see anything wrong with that.

    Aside from that when I came back this year I had 1800 hits. Now I have 16,000 under my belt. It's not shit compared to some people on here, but it's helped me be less of afraid of going hard on unknown batches. I use to do like 1k of A9s a day just to get my numbers up. Even with my numbers as they are now though, I still don't feel like it's enough. It would only take 150 rejections to get me below 99%. So... I'm always trying to go hard on safe batches like A9's.

    Thanks for the reply. Sounds like I would benefit from easing up on completing surveys for now and working to get my numbers up. I know I don't qualify for TONS of hits on mturk because I'm below 1k now.. and I'm sure the next big number qual I see opens up more hits, and higher paying hits. Time to figure out good safe batch work to do besides A9s as I don't see them THAT often.

    Sheer willpower (or bills). Also, closed quals help. Alot. I got to $85 yesterday by 1pm.

    Everyone does in the beginning. Stay on TH, look for the good hits we review, look for the qual hits for closed quals (cuz we have to catch 'em all), ask questions. Bump yourself up to 1k, then 5k, then 10k. I spent my first 3 months do shitty AF hits til I hit 10k. Then after joining TH, I made $1300 that month. It's possible. But it's also work. You can do it! :ay:
