You know it's like a month away right? lol

Yea but that plays into why collect anything that can be digitally reproduced... Keeping a small collection of my all time favorites is part of the fun. Plus it still works if the internet or my computer goes down lol.

Oh on a separate note have you seen all the people freaking out over pikachu talking in some new movie? I saw people having an argument over it on Facebook and thought of you lol.

Yeah but you can't get drunk and accidentally drop the needle on an mp3. You really miss some good stuff.

 

No not really I just find with a good amount of artists they tend to go with a 'theme' for that album and as a result one song often sounds like another or has the same style. I pick out the ones I like and disregard the rest.

Also: I learned a long time ago that anyone who wants to seriously bring up line out recordings of records sounding the same should be completely ignored on the subject

 

It'd be theoretically possible to physically model a vinyl record and a record player.

I don't care for "the vinyl sound" enough to care that much, but it makes me wonder whether anyone has done it. I feel like someone in the audio plugin world would've used this method to write a "vinylizer" plugin by now.
