TV is the legitimate replacement for it. TO even mentions this in their post. It's a lot easier to use, more responsive, and useful in general IMO. You'd have to message CT like he mentioned and use it for a few days to see for yourself.

 

like CT said there weren't any at the beginning, recent implementation to avoid bad quality data. your account was probably granfathered after the thresholds were set. your friend probably met them w/o realizing it unless it was their very first day then that's odd

 

Yes, that's my soul, it left my body 2 years ago & I haven't been able to revive it.

Haha, it was changed months ago but I didn't make it kick people who were already using the website out since that seemed overly rude basically your account got grandfathered in as "safe" since you were using it since before that part of the script existed.

He's been using it since day 1 lol

it's actually surprisingly resistant to garbage data, it's just a massive PITA for CT because there's no system that trusts multiple people (who are actually willing) to remove the crap.

 

Sorry man I didn't know this. Been trying to get more people here to use TV this because it is so awesome. All I was asking is for a tutorial... I asked the daily thread because this is where everyone is. I thought that's what it was for asking questions and posting hits and chatting among one another. Figured someone in the whole community would have an answer. My bad. I didn't want to bug you in your DM in case you were busy somewhere. I guess never mind then. I will pass this info on and correct my mistakes.

 

Also the backend to even remove data is ass. @NBadger can confirm.

 

Speaking as kindly as I possibly could of my time as TO mod. People were using it more for drama and fights with other users than they actually were reviewing. It was really irritating.

 

Well yeah TO was basically useless for a lot of reasons and that was one of them.

plot twist, we fix that issue by having the petty drama and crockpot stoning in the daily thread :O

 

Good thing there's no room for that with TV than the occasional snark about being 50% slower than average.

It was like someone would flag a review that clearly didn't understand the "fairness" score and then they would take it as a personal attack and respond accordingly. It was just so strange.

 

Aren't calico cats just orange cats that got a bit dirty?
