I will look into that. For $10 What do I have to lose? I already took classes in hmtl/CSS, Java, JavaScript, Access, SQL and a few more before I quit hell oops I mean my old job so this can add to my skills.

I started Java

Even though it's a 40-chapter course, you're pretty much set to really start messing with Tampermonkey scripts comfortably around chapter 20 or so. That's where I stopped with the course and switched directions to learning some other specifics I wanted to learn.

So as daunting as it seems, half of the course is basically extra credit IMO. If you've started Javascript, you're a good part of the way "finished" when it comes to knowing Javascript well enough to be comfortable writing scripts for many of the HITs you encounter.

 

I got one from them last year that has been good. All new parts. GPU died and they weren't bad on RMA'ing it. Sorry you didn't have good experiences with them.

I used to build my own but the last two I didn't. I think the next one (in a few years at least) I'll build myself. If for nothing else but to just remember how to do it heh. There is something to be said for the security that if something breaks someone else has to fix it though. That's why I've had the last couple built.

 

Is it a lifetime access or does it expire?

 

I picked that up one of the last times it was $10 along with a couple other ones. Haven't started any of them yet. I'm so lazy -_-

You just have to... start. Starting is the hardest part. Keeping going is much easier. It's like jumping into a cold pool.

There isn't much to remember. Everything only fits one way, just takes time. It's like legos for adults

 

You buy courses a-la-carte on Udemy instead of subscribing to the site itself, so it's lifetime access to whatever course you buy.

Lynda, on the other hand, is a great site if you want to do the "monthly membership, watch anything you want" buffet.
