    It's never easy and you're NOT being an ash hole. I know exactly what you're saying. I debated on taking my Duke in for so long, because it was only some days that he wasn't feeling well, and even then it was kinda far in between. Turns out he had cancer and I don't know if my inability to let go hurt him. Not having a clear neon sign of "hey it' time woman let me go" is THE HARDEST PART, because you will second guess yourself every step of the way.

    Thank you for being kind and understanding. I've never had this happen with a pet before. it's always been very clear what path to take. This is my first time, at 51, where a pet has held on so long. The end is never easy but This...this is really hard. Before she got sick she was a high needs dog, like a 8/10 on being high needs. no one would ever babysit her for me, most of my friends and family don't even like her. But I love her and she is ours and I don't give up on animals. So this thinking of giving up is really hard for me.

    So, while I was sleeping on the couch listening for alerts I had the news on softly in the background. There will be a power outage today due to high winds so we don't have more wildfires, hopefully.

    I heard the news requester say about a town that will be affected, "Organizers will bring in generators to provide light. So if you want to attend, the midget racing will go on tonight!"

    In my half sleep I was very, very, very confused and very concerned by that statement.



    (cars. they meant cars, they did not say cars, they said midgets.)
