On HIT DB Mk II, when I search for a hit, it only searches ~5k of my HITs, despite having ~36k accepted. I'm not super familiar with HIT DB; could anyone explain why this is?

 

I keep getting 'we are experiencing high volume' on the ISSRC hit

It only searches what you have saved in the database

 

Right, so I've updated my database, but still only showing that 5k. Guessing it only gathers data from a certain time back when you update it?

 

Yea, if this is the first time you've used it, it can only create a db from what's currently listed on mturk - so last 45 days

 

Ahhh thanks. I think my DB deleted by accident at some point because I've had it for a while.

 

Updating only refreshes what you've done in the last 45 days, not your entire turk history. Besides if it was searching 35k hits, it would probably be slowed down a bit.

 

Yea it deletes the DB if you clear cookies, history or something. Make a backup every so often and then you can import that if it gets deleted.

 

Dear Master @ChrisTurk, how can we find the https://turkerhub.com/pages/guidelines/ page navigating from the homepage? It is not a thread and I can only reach threads from the homepage. Or am I a dumb bear?
