Good Morning! Quick question...What was the length of time it took from when you started MTurk until you got your first closed qualification?

 

This is a good question. Been wondering the same thing but was afraid to ask. Figured I was tooooo far away yet.

 

some qual hits have quals on them, so you can't do those qual hits until you have those first quals. like minimum 5,000 hits approved or masters or other things. but as long as you meet the quals to accept qual hits, you can try to get any given qual as much as anyone else. so just as they become available.

I think @turker answered. Depends on quite a few factors including minimum number of HITs, approvals, etc.

It could be a month/s for some or a year/s for others it's hard to say.

Probably a couple of months for me at least. There's no set time period for when closed quals drop. You just have to be at the right place at the right time.

They gave you an answer. It depends on all those factors and your work drive. You have to hit 5k before you get one almost always. So YES THEY read the question.
