Saving those for particular events/days... Consider that white little puppy as a polar bear cub.

Breaking $200 is a very rare thing for me. This is my 2nd time doing it in ~18 months, and I was right, it's my new highest day. Here's what my October and some of November looked like:

As you can see, it most certainly is not consistent. Pretty happy with the amount of $100+ days but there's plenty of slacking going on there, haha. :)

I would say I break $100 ~50% of days. $200+ days are rare, but they've happened a handful of times before for me; we were gifted with a couple great batches today.

Well, congrats on a great day to you! I'm just passed my 100th approval, so i'm still learning what batches are great. I saw someone had done the hotel pictures (i think it was called?), but it requires 5k :/

Hopefully i find a good batch for the >100 but not >500 soon, definitely wouldnt mind some of those numbers on my dashboard :D

Keep plugging away, but I wouldn't expect anything from Hotel Photos... they're Masters AND closed qual, so most of us don't stand much of a shot :p

Ah, very well. I hear a lot about Zs and PFA, and i've done a couple of the PFA, but so far i've just been sticking with survey's until i can find a batch of something that i like.

I searched around a good bit while starting this, but wasn't able to find much. Is there a good resource to read about good batches for beginners? or maybe some you would recommend?

Jaime Arguello has some easy ones up if you have a microphone. Three of the HITs are broken, but one of em works. It's not a huge batch by any means, but there's a handful of them. They pay decently well and they're quick.

@dan Thanks! i'll definitely give these a look!

@THFYM I actually remember skimming through this page a couple days ago, but it got lost in the ever mounting "resources" that i was searching. Thakns much for taking the time to link it! I'll give it another go through now that i've actually put some time on here and can make use of it!

Totally not normal. Today was just one of those days were everything went right. $200+ days are rare, but this month I have passed $200 twice mostly due to Hotel Photos which is a closed qual batch.
I average about $60~$100 a day normally, depending if I'm on at the right time when things get posted or if I'm not busy with other things off mturk.

Mturk really does have a steep learning curve, which turns off people from it. Hopefully once you go thru the guides on MTG "need to re-write them for turkerhub" you'll have a better understanding of the scripts and tools you can use.

They're actually the subject of my favorite Tinder conversation starter...

THFYM: "How much does a polar bear weigh?"

Tinder Girl: "Enough to break the ice?"

THFYM: "You'd think so, but not really. If polar bears always broke through the ice, they would have an awfully hard time living in their natural habitat without drowning. Actually, female polar bears weigh between 330 and 650 pounds on average, while males can weigh up to 1000 pounds."

Tinder Girl: "Oh hahaha THFYM, you so funny, please have sex with me." ***

    ***This part doesn't actually happen

8am dentist appointment, need some sleep or I will go ham on those hotel photos that are up.

Hotel Photos 62,313 hits all without a script :biblethump:

Any suggestions on how to make a script for them if possible? Hit contains 12 main categories with each category containing a sub category with multiple options to chose from in the sub category. With 5 images to classify per hit.

Are they hosted on mturk, or an external iframe? If it's external, could you PM me the source so I could take a look?
