That sucks that they've been so unreasonable and unprofessional. I don't think anyone else has received a reply yet. At least I haven't, and I've sent two messages. Sending one more, eh? Time to be no so nice, right?

@YarnAndCats Maybe we should turn the other cheek, and sign them up for Christmas emails. Who doesn't love receiving lots of Christmas-related emails this time of year!

 

I just got the same. I sent him a message back asking what it was that I did wrong so that I can learn something for the future. I also mentioned why set up a second hit to correct their first hit if I had completed the first one wrong?

Requester name: Frankline Muthomi

 

Frankline Muthomi was the requester but the chair of the department was also on the consent form and he is the one who has been responding to me. He rejected a bunch of us twice but others got approved for the same study. It sounds like there was an issue with being provided two different codes at the end maybe.

 

That's what really bothers me is they tell us to submit the 2nd hit for additional compensation, and we received two rejections for our trouble.

 

It sounds like you were much nicer than me in your response. I usually don't let requesters bother me but this guy just seems super entitled and snarky so I called him unprofessional and unethical and now I'm going back to posting cats again
