    mturk facebook doesn't sound like it has the best bunch of people.. but I'll be honest I haven't ever checked it out.

    There are at least 9 groups on there the quality of the turker pools vary (mine's www.facebook.com/groups/mturkers btw)

    I think it's just the stigma of Facebook. Facebook is the "place for friends". It just makes more sense to me that those who are more focused on making a serious income from MTurk would spend their time between HITs on websites dedicated to MTurk like here and MTC or even Reddit, not Facebook.

    But they spend their time in multiple MTurk specific groups without having to login and logout so I guess it's more convenient when HITs post to receive it in their global notifications (I owe my VDX qual which I'd been chasing but not really seriously for years, owe to a fb group)
