Ugh I commissioned a thing for my secret santee, and the etsy seller was super communicative until my last message, where I thought I gave some pretty reasonable negative feedback (like, "hey looks great but would prefer is this part was more like this"). I sent that on Sunday - is it too soon to reach out and follow up?

nope, not that i can think of. i have a mexican fresh market near me that has an insane variety of meat and fish so if it was anywhere they'd have it there, but i don't think i've them sell freshwater fish at all. you can get all the pig feet and goat meat you want though.

 

He said he'd have it done by Thanksgiving, so yeah I guess there's a reasonable enough window in there (tbf he sent me the mock up on Sunday, so he's not trying to stick to a M-F schedule it would seem)

 

that bunny surely isn't organic certified, so you can see how I was confused.

(Aside: Awww, that is incredibly sweet and awesome of you to have something made special!!! Way cool. And no, not too soon to reach out if they've been responding faster. Just maybe state something like you hope you didn't offend them with your last message and that you do really love their work, yadda yadda. Creative types can be sensitive.)

Lol I'm shipping out responsibilities. My family got plant babies this year with little drawn and written out instructions for where to place and how often to water and what to look out for.

 

Oh, I dunno. Something so fancy in having someone make something.

 

I still haven't picked out what to get my dad or my sisters. I'm putting it off until the very last minute.
