11/27 - Mixed-up Monday!

An older friend of mine (He's 65) I used to take care of him before for a few months while he wife was working in Japan, sent me a message this morning telling me he got me a Christmas present~ He used to be my jeweler way before he got sick but now these days he doesn't have the energy or strength to do it anymore. Pros: These take a handful of HITs to "ramp up" and get a feel for what you're doing but once you're accustomed to them they honestly should take no more than 20-30s max.

I like browsing sites like reddit so for me the work is fun, I'm sure that'll vary wildly person to person but you tend to see some interesting conversational snippets.

Requester has been around for quite some time & has a bunch of different types of work (though they all generally relate back to the same idea). They're exceptionally responsive & are super polite anytime I've had to hit them with a question.
Cons: Requester threatens rejections, but if you're a native English speaker familiar with reddit/Twitter/social media in general you'll never have a problem IME.

Everything else about it seems pretty cool though, but if you need some points to add some indecision to the purchase, look above. I still haven't "upgraded" to a higher-res monitor from my 1080p 144Hz BenQ on my higher-end desktop because every other monitor I've tried so far feels like I'm dragging my cursor through mud by comparison.

But I do really love 4K (and near-4K) resolutions.

My wishlists go through spurts of being messy or not. My books wishlist (which is private right now, since I don't want people peeking into my mind) has a bunch of books in it that I've either already bought or am not interested in anymore.

But I keep my public wishlists organized because I use them for affiliate marketing as well (i.e., affiliate-linking in YouTube descriptions, Steam, etc., as a "this is what I use" list for people who want to know).

For example, when I played Overwatch or CSGO with my old audio chain, I'd get a ton of comments to the effect of "your voice is so sexy", "read me a bedtime story", etc., and they'd ask what mic I was using. It was helpful to have an Amazon wishlist and just pop an affiliate tag to the end of it to earn some $$$ for my endorsement.
