    We feast at usual dinner time and not at 2pm because...kids. So there's plenty of digestion time.

    I do my best to handle family gatherings but when it's past about 10-15 people I get VERY anxious and can't handle it. I used to smoke just so that I could take those moments to step outside and be alone with maybe 1-4 other people and recoup. Even if it's family I have a hard time. Maybe libations will help me deal with that next time.

    I made it back from the store alive!

    It was a zoo of people who looked like the Walking Dead in there. Saw multiple people carrying frozen turkeys in their hands. No cart. The shelves looked like they do before a giant snowstorm, all ransacked with stuff on the floor. The cracker aisle was the worst. Apparently people go insane for crackers at Thanksgiving? Told my husband and he said it's probably because they are all crackalacking. :)

    Did I mention it's also sideways driving freezing rain right now? Good times.

    Back to potatoes!
