I'm in CA right now and I don't start feeling cold until it gets into the high 50s, my home has no heater or ac, luckily it doesn't really dip really cold on the coast. When I lived up in WA and OR last 2 years, it was a different story...the 50s were alot colder and harder to deal with because the real feel was always colder then actual number. We usually kept the heat above 55, but it's not comfortable once it hits into the high 40s. I've only felt the winter as low as 20 degrees. All I did was igloo up in 2 layers and I'm usually fine.

 

Hahahahah. I am INSIDE and currently wearing thick slippers, thick socks, long underwear, sweatpants, a long sleeve shirt and a sweat shirt and was just thinking, man it's cold I should throw on my hoodie. And the heat is on.

I expect most of the people coming to Thanksgiving tomorrow to have many multiple layers on. I usually have extra clothes in a bag in my car so depending on how hot or cold people keep their houses I can layer up or layer down

 

I knew it had to be mostly bullshit! No way is someone running around inside their apartment that is FULL OF WINDOWS WITH NO CURTAINS in a cute spaghetti strap tank and yoga pants in December with a full on blizzard going on outside those uncurtained windows.

 

It just isn't Thanksgiving if you don't have to make a last minute trip the day beforehand.

Actually if you snowmobile to the bars in Northern Wisconsin (which is the only way to get there) there are helmet racks and hooks everywhere for outer gear. No one is in a strapless dress. I haven't worn short sleeves or yoga pants since September.
