So how do y'all know he isn't keeping tabs on us?

 

Boy do I feel like a sucker. I tend to look for the good in people. It is horrible he would fake a suicide. A close friend is battling those demons (resulting with phone calls that she's been hospitalized again). Thank you, and others for opening up my eyes.

 

I think he actually lived in Michigan. He said so at some point and that he always wanted to visit Mexico. Also, he went from not knowing Spanish to growing up bilingual.

I never believed Stanley actually died (I didn't believe a single thing he typed, really.), but I still felt the need to respect people who were grieving over the loss of a friend, regardless of whether or not he was 'real.' The loss a lot of people experienced is real and calling them 'fucking idiots' or whatever is pointless at the least and makes for an unnecessarily hostile environment.

 

I'm pretty convinced he's here. Right now. Just saying. Multiple online personas and all.

 

As much of a scumbag move using suicide as a ploy to gain attention, I still can't help but feel sad for the guy. Shit, everyone wants a bit of attention. People seek for it in different ways.

His way was the worst possible way.
