It really is, but it's even more so when it's something I made that took SO much longer than it should have, and I owe money from the sale of to the person that bought the materials

 

It's all part of my strategy of being in the Top 50 of TurkerHub. It's about the only way to make it happen.

 

It stresses me out so bad. 10 people all comment at the same time that they want it and then everyone starts Grinching that they were first and they are gonna report you!!!!!!!!!!!!! for not selling it to them. Then people start messaging you on messenger and try calling you through messenger and I'm like good god this was a mistake.

 

Yea i've had one person like it and that was it your experience is very different from mine lol.

I quit using it after a student got robbed a week or two ago at gunpoint from selling a phone on there. Right on the edge of campus.

 

Lol. That sounds like heaven to me. Lots of choices.

I pick who I want to sell things to based on whatever criteria I decide -- whether the person seems like a flake, what the price they're offering it is, whether they're willing to pick it up, etc. I'm totally unapologetic in my selection, and the whining doesn't even faze me.

The admins on my local buy/sell/trade page are assholes and kick people out if someone can prove you're not going in order. People will literally take screenshots and start a whole new post calling you a scammer and an awful person because you skipped them in line lmao.

 

The police department in my city offers a safe exchange zone at the police station for exactly this reason.
