'That's one of the reasons I do mTurk. If I need a sudden surge of money, mTurk can get me cash much more rapidly than Associates will. But in terms of absolute money in the long-term, an effective affiliate marketer is several pay grades above an effective Turker.

you're right, and I'm sure it was me you were speaking of, because you're right, I have it really really good. I turk because it makes me feel better about myself that I can contribute to my family, and it gets my husband off my back to get a real job - since I can't really hold one down.

But you're right, if I don't turk, it just means we have to cancel our cruise. And I get how high brow that sounds.

I'm just grateful for the chance to make some money, feel useful, and increase my family's quality of life. But because my roof over my head and my food on my plate doesn't depend on it, I can see why grinding 5's isn't something I can force myself to do. Kudos to those who can!
