So I posted this prolific hit right after I accepted it this morning. 5 hour timer so it should still have 2 hours left. I finished it and couldn't submit because it said the timer ran out. If you look at the hit now the timer is 130 mins. ( https://www.prolific.ac/studies/5825a38efc36cc0001d4f97c )

Prolific has always been fair but letting a requester change the timer after it's in your queue is some next level bullshit

I do that all the time. It is pretty much the only AC that catches me.

 

To be honest I've noticed a lot of Prolific surveys that "expire" even though the timer is still ticking. I never understood it.

The timer it shows in the browser isn't accurate. If you switch to another tab the timer stops, at least for me.
