ARRC is more clear this time around about the kind of activities that will earn bonuses during the study period. Basically people should just reply to everything shared on the board or via PM. All the assessments, news stories, etc., don't count for shit if no one is responding to them.

Im getting really tired of being locked out of a survey everytime my gf accepts it before I do.
Is there any way to bypass this?
Maybe with a VPN?
Suggestions?

 

If you go with a VPN just know that some surveys do bother checking your location by IP so use an appropriate endpoint.

 

Just change the Yes to No in this section: (make sure to save the script and reload the HIT to see the change)

vpn or it might be cheaper if you have a digital ocean account and make a linux server , set up a socks5 proxy , save it to an image so you can destroy it when not in use, then its like 5-10 cents an hour

 

Can your phone act as a mobile hotspot? Might be easier to just switch over to that for certain surveys if you can.

Anyway to somehow use my houses wifi then using some app to change the ip address?
Im not too tech savvy so general stuff like using apps is as far as i get in that area.

 

or just take the surveys that she's done over the internets and do those on a phone....or tablet that's hooked up to phone service....

 

Lol. Isn't it crazy how you just clunk out in the middle of a HIT? I fell asleep yesterday morning trying out these A9's. My head nearly hit the table. I crawled back into bed after that. But it's ok. It looks like I have all 5500 of today's A9's to myself.

 

I never thought of using my data plan as a different IP address, that's pretty cool. I have a VPN whether I want one or not so Idk if I'll use it but maybe in the future. c:

 

There are good step by step tutorials for doing this with Ubuntu if that's an option on Digital Ocean, If not AWS works for this as well, can't speak for how the price compares.

A 'good' VPN is going to run about $50 a year, plus or minus.

 

you might could take the survey link and put it into something like Hide My Ass that scrubs your IP...

 

yea i would use ubuntu on DO to do this before i started turking i would run mass bot farms for Runescape and sell the gold i kind of miss it but its alot of work for a little profit hahaha

but digital ocean is really cheap to do this as they charge by the hour
