My favorite Amazon move (which is something that is straight out Futurama) is when they send an automated message, you ask for more information, and they reply with another, but different automated message.

 

I actually got one for the first time in forever because my prime order of some xmas presents for the gf was going to get here while she was here on Saturday, so I deliberately delayed.

Constantly order stuff on your Amazon day until you can afford to buy one entire movie? I liked it better when it applied to all purchases, but I'm not complaining too much.

dammit, I told you to get a library card a long time ago -- most have research databases that include up-to-date newspaper databases

I did find out that my local library system that recently built several new libraries that look more like Barnes & Nobles than libraries, complete with coffee shops, has cancelled their subscriptions to those research databases, so I had to dig out my Denver library card to get to them :madface:
