    I worked at a Rooms To Go distribution center as the receiving supervisor for years..the mark-up on furniture is absolutely INSANE. I would see the actual cost since I had 2-3 million on my receiving dock usually and was responsible for it.

    200+% markup was pretty basic for RTG.

    I'll never forget the day we had some nightstands come in at $15 cost...

    I saw them in the RTG store for $535

    My parents were told I was a boy. They only had boys' names picked out. I popped out with the wrong parts and they panicked and just threw an "a" on there to make it female. I'm actually named after a pretty awesome human being (male).

    It's like how can anything be that heavy! It's basically a dense neutron star in sofa form.

    I also liked how our containers would have 150 of them on every shipment -_- I was the guy who put all the upholstery away before I became a supervisor so I got to do it by my self.
