12/06 - Taste of the Tuesday!

Yeah, whenever I mouse through one of the regions in the black box, whatever I'm dragging will automatically snap to that region. I like snapping boxes by dragging to the sides, but I really don't like this box in the middle. It's bugged out a few of my windows. I found snapping options but haven't found anything related to the black box.

 

It is possible to not have that weird popup.. I haven't ever seen it.

edit: actually you are on a laptop.. I wonder if that is some built in bloatware that is doing that.

check in settings > system > multitasking. thats my only guess though. or like random said, accessibility option to snap screens to the edges.

 

you can have snapping on (and I love snapping) without having that, by default windows 10 doesn't display that.

 

ah! did some googlefu and do you have something called DellPremierColor? check that

 

so my second idea of it being laptop bloatware might be correct? =p

pretty much, or, according to the post i found this stuff from "I had this same issue but with an MSI computer. I have been looking for a resolution for over a month now and finally found this thread. It is a similar menu for MSI users called "TRUE COLOR" under "TOOLS" where you deselect the "Desktop Partition On" option. Problem resolved. Annoyance gone."

so, i would check there if you dont have the dell stuff

God damn laptop manufactures.. .. that thing looked pretty annoying.

 

Must have been a recent update for them. I got this laptop from MSI in January last year. The SSD failed in October and I sent it in for an RMA. I didn't have the black box before the RMA.

Anyone ever have turkmaster go off like it caught something but it never catches anything? Seems like half way through today it stopped working.
