Personally, I think Belle should have peaced out and travelled the world. Beast is capable of change, and kudos to him for that, but he's also straight up awful to her until he falls in love with her. That doesn't make that shit ok retroactively. She shoulda been like, "I'm taking some of your gold and going wherever the fuck I please, gonna be some fucking sweet Af books too. Maybe don't be such a dick to people in the future brah. I love how I come check on the forum and there's a Beauty and the Beast discussion. I do think it's good that people think critically of media they're exposed to even and especially if it's marketed to children. It's also pretty amusing in a way and a little fucked up that people have taken what are sometimes very dark fairy tales and turned them into movies for kids.
