Oh yea... some secret that is lol. I finally turned off the panda for them because i was sick of answering questions about which version of [survey content] I preferred. They have all been on the same thing today.

 

I have a 2010 Jetta, and still love it. I feel like the Civic might be the best bang for the buck though. The VW seems to be a little pricey when it comes to maintenance/repairs....but before this I was also use to having junky cars that ran on duct tape and hope.

 

I have a 2013 chevy sonic .... they have the seats that they have..

fwiw I have a 2014 Fiesta which is in your budget too. They're fun to drive and my hatchback has a ton of trunk space. It doesn't look like it but I'm always surprised at what I can cram in there (TWSS).

As long as you don't have one with transmission issues.... I was going to get one when I was getting a car but kept being worried about those issues. Assuming those are fixed now though on the newer models it is a good car just like any good hatchback

the back seats also fold down very easily to make the trunk even bigger since that was one of your concerns. i had the 2012 and it had terrible issues with the transmission and clutch, so i upgraded to the 2014 and it's much better. my credit wasn't fantastic at the time and i only put down 1k and it was still very affordable, especially for how much it comes equipped with, and how comfortable and fun it is to drive.

hah yeah if you need a really cheap car the spark is rather cheap shrunk down version of the sonic.
