I subscribed a friend to a cooking magazine for her birthday, and she always sends me pics of recipes she makes from it. It's so fun to see someone enjoy a gift! I bet your grandma is tickled that you guys get good use out of it

 

I just had a HIT rejected by requester Michael Lanning with the following reason:

michael lanning, A32ANUAZ230U6J , does not have a turkerview profile. i have reported his rejection and read him the riot act in the kindest way possible. i hope to hear from him soon as there was nothing wrong with the quality of my work, as his inability to construct a study properly is NOT my problem. this is... fucking unbelievable.

A good rule of thumb is just to avoid new requesters that haven't been reviewed unless you have high enough numbers and can eat the rejections. I wont touch new requester profiles with a ten foot pole anymore ive had so many rejected

 

i mean i can technically eat a rejection and stay above 99%, its just that 1) i dont have a lot of HITs available to me every day so i have to take what i can get and 2) i refuse to eat shit from a newbie

She's right though. The world is only getting more complicated. Find someone you like being with and make a commitment for the rest of your life. Do things that make that feasible. You'll see the value in that about ten years from now.

 

It's clearly a new requester who is unfamiliar with the platform and made a mistake. Try to be reasonable here, requesters are human too and he likely doesn't understand what rejections mean for workers.

youve made a good point here. i wasnt cursing at him or anything, i just wanted to convey the gravity of the issue accurately. how he reacts to this issue dictates if he'll be worth working for in the future at all or not, and i will be happy to share a rejection reversal and comm. details if he makes things right.
