i was just strongly considering this. i thought we were pretending to be rude to each other, not inspire delicious dinners.

 

Well I know nothing so that can't be true.

 

Is there a government agency in the US responsible for overseeing Universities and their IRB boards? Because I was just told by the IRB at northwestern that "Unfortunately, given the proposal was not human subjects research, it falls outside of the scope of the IRB’s compliance program."

That is BS. I am a human and my data and my personal information was collected and I was denied payment. The requester, Moran Cerf, is a professor at Northwestern and he scammed everyone who took his YouTube Ads assessment hit, those who managed to complete the study before the 40 minute timer expired were told they completed it too quickly, those who completed the study but let the hit expire and messaged a code were not paid either. This requester told me it takes a certain amount of seconds to properly complete the hit, which I converted to minutes and it ended up being 45 minutes on a hit with a 40 minute timer, with a hit title which advertised a 35 minute study. They guy is getting away with scamming everyone who took his nearly hour long $4 hit and the IRB is refusing to do anything about it.
